This morning, we say goodbye to Cape Town and take flight to Johannesburg but the real magic is just beginning.

From the city, we journey to Pilanesberg, where the landscape transforms into open plains, rolling hills, and untamed beauty. Upon arrival, you’ll check into the stunning Ivory Tree Game Lodge — your luxury retreat in the heart of the African bush.

After lunch at the lodge, the adventure begins. We head out on your first safari game drive inside Pilanesberg National Park. As the vehicle moves quietly through the reserve, anticipation builds. This is where nature takes center stage — and you may encounter the legendary Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, along with giraffes, zebras, and countless other species roaming freely in their natural habitat.

There’s nothing quite like the golden African light at dusk, the stillness of the landscape, and the thrill of spotting wildlife just meters away.

Tonight, you fall asleep in the heart of the wild. And tomorrow, it continues.

Day 6 | July 4th, 2027

The Full Safari Experience

Today, you fully surrender to the rhythm of the wild.

We rise early for a sunrise game drive — the most magical time in the reserve. As the golden light spills across the savannah, wildlife is at its most active. Lions return from the hunt, elephants gather at watering holes, and the bush comes alive in a way that feels almost cinematic.

After breakfast at the lodge, the day slows beautifully. Relax by the pool, enjoy the serenity of the landscape, or simply take in the stillness of being completely surrounded by nature. Following lunch, we head out again for an afternoon game drive another opportunity to witness Africa’s iconic wildlife in their natural habitat. Every drive is different. Every sighting is unexpected. Every moment feels extraordinary.

"I trust her judgement"

"We used the services of Dr. Gwen Robinson. We travelled to Smoky Mountains in April. The facilities and amenities were pristine. Our desires were met and the recommended ventures were exciting. Dr. Robinson’s services was professional and concise. She advised as needed and her concerns was very much appreciated. The price was beyond fair and I had to look twice because, I could not believe how reasonable it was. This is the first of many bookings that I will be making for me and my family with her services. . I felt secure and I trust her judgement. I would rate her services as a 10."

– Andrea Cotton
