Your Journey at a Glance
Day 1 – Arrival in Ghana (Accra)
Accommodation: Kempinski Hotel
Akwaaba! Welcome to Ghana.
Upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your local guide and assisted through arrival formalities. If your flight arrives late, a light snack will be provided before transferring to your hotel to settle in. In the evening, we gather for a welcome dinner and drinks, officially beginning your Ghanaian adventure.
Day 2 – Exploring Accra
Accommodation: Kempinski Hotel
Today begins with an immersion into Ghana’s vibrant capital city. We’ll visit:
- Independence Square and the Black Star Arch, monuments to Ghana’s freedom
- The National Museum, showcasing Ghana’s art, history, and cultural heritage
- The Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, honoring Ghana’s first president
We then explore Makola Market, where colorful fabrics, local goods, and daily life bring the city alive. After lunch, we return to the hotel for some downtime before closing the day with an evening of Accra’s buzzing nightlife.
Day 2 – Exploring Accra
Accommodation: Kempinski Hotel
Today begins with an immersion into Ghana’s vibrant capital city. We’ll visit:

Day 3 – Accra to Kumasi
Accommodation: Oak Plaza
After breakfast, we drive north to Kumasi, the historic capital of the Ashanti Kingdom. Along the way, we stop at Bonwire Kente Village, home of the world-famous handwoven Kente cloth. Here, you’ll learn about its cultural significance and have the opportunity to try weaving yourself.
Upon arrival in Kumasi, we check in, enjoy lunch, and visit the Cultural Centre, a hub for traditional Ashanti arts and crafts. The evening offers time to experience Kumasi’s vibrant nightlife.
Day 4 – Exploring Kumasi
Accommodation: Oak Plaza
Today is dedicated to exploring the rich heritage of the Ashanti Empire. Highlights include:
- The Kumasi Cultural Centre
- The Manhyia Palace Museum, seat of the Ashanti kings
- The Okomfo Anokye Sword Site, where the legendary sword—symbol of Ashanti unity—has remained unmoved for over 400 years
After lunch, we visit Kejetia Market, the largest open-air market in West Africa. The evening is at leisure, with an optional night out.
Day 5 – Kumasi to Cape Coast (via Assin Manso)
Accommodation: Lemon Beach Resort
This morning, we journey south toward Cape Coast with a powerful stop at the Assin Manso Slave River & Memorial Site. This is where enslaved Africans took their “last bath” before being marched to the coast.
We take part in a Reverential Walk of Return, walking barefoot to the river as an act of remembrance and reconnection with the ancestors. You’ll also have the opportunity to inscribe a name on the Wall of Return.
From here, we continue to Cape Coast Castle, one of the most significant slave dungeons of the transatlantic slave trade. After lunch, we check in to our beachfront resort.
Day 6 – Rest, Reflection & Cultural Immersion
Accommodation: Lemon Beach Resort
Today is a full day of rest and relaxation by the beach.
For those who prefer to stay engaged, optional cultural activities are available:
- A traditional Ghanaian cooking class, or
- Batik tie-dye making, where you create your own souvenir
Day 7 – Cape Coast to Accra
Accommodation: Kempinski Hotel
After breakfast, we depart for Accra. Along the way, we visit the Kakum Canopy Walkway, a breathtaking rainforest experience suspended above the treetops.
Upon arrival in Accra, we stop at the Arts Centre, where you can shop for handmade souvenirs and gifts for friends and family.
Day 8 – Free Day in Accra & Farewell Dinner
Accommodation: Kempinski Hotel
Today is a free day to enjoy Accra at your own pace. You may choose to relax, unwind, or explore the city independently.
In the evening, we come together for a farewell dinner, reflecting on the memories made and celebrating the journey we’ve shared.
Day 9 – Departure
Enjoy a relaxed morning before departure. Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories and a deeper connection to Ghana.

The group will depart from Hartsfied International Airport: Group Airfare will be quoted to ensure the group arrives and departs together.
If you choose to travel from another gateway, we will advise you what flights you are required to book to arrive close to the groups arrival. If you choose to fly on a different airline and do not arrive within 30 minutes of the group’s arrival, they will be responsible for arranging and covering their own roundtrip ground transportation to and from the airport.”

Reservations: Making reservations for this package signifies your acceptance of our TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payments: Travel Agency only accepts payments in United States Dollars. Payments can be made via major debit and credit cards. Accepted cards are: Mastercard, Visa, and American Express. Credit or debit card should be in the name of the passenger. Alternate forms of payment may be accepted only with the expressed permission of Travel Agency. If alternate payment forms are required, please contact the Travel Agency at [
Deposit: All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Travel reservations are not confirmed until a deposit is made. Your travel proposal will reflect the amount needed to confirm your vacation. Unless stated otherwise, prices may fluctuate between the time a quote is rendered and when the deposit is furnished.
Payment Plans: We are pleased to offer, for your convenience, a monthly payment plan for your travel plans. No payment plan is available for reservations made sixty (60) days or less from the date of travel.
Final Payment: Reserved travel plans must be paid in full on or before the final payment date. Your travel proposal/itinerary will state the date your final payment is due. Any reservations not paid in full on or before your final payment date is subject to cancellation, with no notice and no refund of payments made.
Reinstatement of Reservation: If your travel reservations have been cancelled, and you notify us within 14 calendar days of cancellation that you want to reinstate your reservation, a service reinstatement fee of $50.00 for international tours) will be added to your invoice and must be paid in advance in order to apply for reconfirmation of services. In the case where a reservation is canceled and reinstated, it is not guaranteed that the passenger will receive the same exact itinerary for the same price. This will be considered a new reservation and subject to the pricing and terms and conditions at the time the reservation is reinstated. Passenger understands that the passenger will be responsible for any increase in travel costs upon reinstatement of the reservation.
Reservation Changes: Changes to an existing reservation, whatever the cause, will incur a $25.00 per person charge plus any additional supplier fees. This includes name changes* and removal of any services such as optional tours and transfers.
*Please note that name changes to airline reservations are subject to full cancellation and rebooking.
NO REFUND POLICY: We do not issue refunds for any reason due to contractual agreements with suppliers that allow us to keep our prices optimal as a benefit to you. However, we will provide a travel credit if the trip is suspended by us. Any travel credit must be used within 12 months from the date the credit is issued [[email protected]].
Traveling With a Roommate: Traveler agrees that neither us nor you shall be permitted to assign any rights or obligations under this travel agreement or resell or otherwise transfer to persons not associated with the original reservations for guest rooms, meeting rooms or any other facilities made pursuant to this travel agreement. If you are traveling with a roommate, to receive the best prices, you and the roommate must reserve your travel itinerary at the same time. If your roommate chooses not to travel, the roommate will be subject to the cancellation policies stated in these terms & conditions and in the proposal. The traveling party may be subject to an increased fee in the form of a single supplement or the travel package may need to be requoted and rebooked. Please contact Travel Agent if this occurs to determine the best course of action based on your itinerary. Travel Agency does not offer roommate matching service and is not responsible for any increased costs or other monetary damages in case a roommate chooses to no longer travel.
